Function & construction
The Minster cannot be captured until four minutes after the match begins. After a player captures it, an eight-minute victory countdown starts. The building changes control if the owner leaves it without nearby units and an opponent moves military units into the area; because it is invulnerable, control of the surrounding ground—not damage to the structure—decides who holds it. Its line of sight is 38.
Placement & timing
Scout the routes to the hill early, but prepare a force to secure the objective rather than arriving with an unsupported Explorer. After taking the Minster, keep enough units close to prevent recapture and reinforce before the enemy can assemble a larger attack. The passive resources help fund a prolonged defense, but losing control transfers the objective and its income. The countdown makes the hill the central endgame priority once it becomes capturable.
Plan around the capture and victory timers
The Minster is a timed victory condition as well as an economic site. The four-minute lockout gives both teams time to explore and position units; the eight-minute countdown after capture gives the opponent a clear window to contest control. Use the waiting period to scout approaches, reinforce the center and decide which forces can remain near the hill. Once the timer begins, avoid chasing distant units if that leaves the site undefended. Its steady Food, Wood and Coin income helps the holder, but the main objective is retaining nearby military presence until the countdown ends.
