Monster Ice Cream Truck

Monster Ice Cream Truck is a cheat unit from Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties, also represented in Definitive Edition. The white monster truck combines a temporary-worker ability with a powerful Trample attack. It is summoned with “ding ding ding” or placed in the Scenario Editor; it is not a normal cavalry unit that a civilization can train or maintain through its economy.

Ability, access & values

The recorded profile has 60,000 hit points, 90% hand resistance, speed 16.0 and line of sight 20. Its Ice Cream ability summons 10 Villagers at a target area, has a 240-second cooldown and causes those Villagers to expire after 60 seconds. Its Trample attack deals 1,000 damage, affects an area of 8 and has a two-second interval. Treat these as cheat-unit mechanics, not standard values for Villagers or cavalry.

Timing the temporary workers

The ability is useful for a scripted burst of activity: the truck can create temporary workers near a scenario objective without requiring the usual long-term economy. Because they survive for only one minute and the ability then remains unavailable for four minutes, plan a short task that can be finished during that window. The truck’s speed and Trample attack make it dangerous near units, so keep the summoned Villagers away from combat and use the truck as a scenario object rather than a routine economic shipment.

Practical direction

Choose the target area before activating Ice Cream. Ten Villagers appearing together can briefly gather, build or perform another assigned task, but the one-minute lifetime puts a strict limit on the value of travel time. Keep the truck near the intended work zone, and remember that the 240-second cooldown prevents repeating the effect immediately. For combat staging, its 16.0 speed and area Trample attack can overwhelm nearby forces; do not assume ordinary anti-cavalry or cost comparisons apply.

Ice Cream creates a timed workforce

Ice Cream summons ten Villagers in the selected area. They behave as Villagers but disappear after 60 seconds, so they can contribute only during a short, planned window. The four-minute cooldown is longer than their lifetime, which means the ability is a periodic scenario effect rather than a sustainable way to expand an economy. Assign the workers immediately and avoid spending most of their limited time moving across the map.

Trample is separate from the economic ability

The truck also has a 1,000-damage Trample attack with area of effect 8 and a two-second interval. This combat profile is independent of Ice Cream: summoning workers does not make the truck an ordinary cavalry unit, and its attack is not a normal counter template. Its 60,000 hit points and 90% hand resistance further mark it as special content. Use the Scenario Editor or cheat-enabled play to control where the truck can affect a mission.
