Muscovy
Muscovy is a land map organized around a long, winding river, with most natural resources along its banks. River access shapes both gathering and movement, so controlling only the starting bank can leave important resources to the opponent.

Map character
Jagiellon, Oldenburg, Phanar and Vasa settlements are available; Cossack Daredevil and Hajduk are listed outlaws. Explore the river for actual crossing points and nearby resources before sending workers across. The river can slow or channel movement, but it is not a guaranteed defensive wall.
What to scout
Secure the resources your economy needs on both sides only when the route can be defended. Keep a mobile force near the crossing to answer raids, and avoid pushing workers into an opposite-bank area that the army cannot reinforce. Choose a settlement for a specific unit or technology role, then protect its Trading Post.
A winding river divides the map
Muscovy is organized around a long winding river. Most natural resources lie along its banks, so access affects both gathering and movement. A player controlling only the starting side may leave important resource space to the opponent; crossing without scouting can expose workers to attacks from the opposite bank.
Settlements and riverbank scouting
Jagiellon, Oldenburg, Phanar and Vasa settlements are available; Cossack Daredevil and Hajduk are outlaws. Explore the river to find safe crossing points and nearby resources before committing to an army route. Do not treat the river as a guaranteed wall: crossing locations and unit mobility determine how much protection it offers. Muscovy is a land map from Knights of the Mediterranean.
