Effect & research conditions
It costs 800 Coin and takes 40 seconds. Denmark must first send the Helsingor Customs Chamber Home City Card. On completion it blocks a random shipment belonging to the best enemy player for 1,200 seconds, or 20 minutes; Denmark cannot select a card.
Research condition
Available to Danes from the Fortress Age. Research it at Customs House.
When to research
Unlock and research before an important opposing delivery is expected, when the Coin cost and delay can affect the match. The random target makes the result less predictable than a direct counter. Protect the Customs House and do not spend Coin if immediate defense or army production is more urgent.
Timed disruption, not a chosen counter
Sound Blockade prevents one random shipment from the best enemy player for 20 minutes. That can interfere with a planned reinforcement or economic delivery, but the player cannot choose which card is blocked. Its value depends on the opponent's queue and which enemy the game selects as best. Treat it as disruption that may change timing, not a guaranteed answer to a named unit or strategy.
Unlock and research sequence
The Danes need the Helsingor Customs Chamber card before the Customs House offers this technology. Research occupies 40 seconds and spends 800 Coin, so plan before an attack is underway. The 20-minute block begins when research completes. Keep the Customs House safe and compare disruption with using Coin for units, upgrades or age advancement.
