Effect & research conditions
Complete Galata Tower District first, then research Topkapi at the Mosque. The higher limit matters when the player continues producing Yörüks and would otherwise reach the existing cap. Plan the supporting economy and production time as well: expanding a unit limit does not automatically fill it or remove the resources required for each unit.

When to research
Research Topkapi when a continuing Yörük force is part of the Ottoman plan and the current limit is constraining production. If the army is not using Yörüks, or if Wood and Coin are urgently needed elsewhere, the limit increase may have little near-term value. Consider Tanzimat as the subsequent step once the prerequisite path is available.
Train limit rises from 45 to 70
Topkapi increases the Yörük train limit by 25, from 45 to 70. This raises the ceiling; it does not send 25 Villagers or automatically fill the new spaces. The additional limit matters only while the Ottoman player keeps producing Yörüks and has population room for them.

The Ottoman player must reach the Fortress Age and research Galata Tower District before starting Topkapi at the Mosque. The current cost is 200 Wood and 200 Coin for 15 seconds; earlier versions cost 400 of each resource. Tanzimat follows Topkapi in the listed research line.
