Role, availability & values
The mounted profile has 1,000 hit points, 10% ranged resistance, 8.1 speed and 18 Line of Sight. Its 6-damage hand attack deals 3× damage to Treasure Guardians and 0.25× to Villagers; siege deals 15 damage at range 6 every three seconds. Frank can build Town Centers and Trading Posts and train War Dogs. The same character also has an unarmed mounted cutscene form and a decorative infantry form that cannot attack, so the profile depends on which scripted appearance is being described.
Matchup & timing
Use the mounted form for its scenario utility and mobility, but keep it with a force that can protect its construction or War Dog training. The anti-guardian multiplier helps with Treasure encounters, while the Villager penalty makes it unsuitable for raiding workers. Do not treat the cutscene forms as alternative production units or assume Frank is a standard Lakota hero in ordinary matches.
Version-specific campaign character
Definitive Edition rewrites this part of Act II: Shadow around Uncle Frank in place of Crazy Horse. The mounted forms are used in campaign gameplay and cutscenes, while the unmounted infantry model is decorative and cannot attack. Keeping those appearances separate prevents the 170-hit-point infantry model or the mounted hero abilities from being mistaken for one interchangeable unit.
