Village Rickshaw

Village Rickshaw is a Chinese construction wagon from The Asian Dynasties that builds a Village for free. The Village supports population and can fatten livestock, so the wagon adds both housing and an economic option.

Role, availability & values

It has 250 hit points, 4.0 speed and 20% siege resistance. The Rickshaw is consumed when the Village is established; the building’s location determines whether its housing and livestock functions fit the Chinese economy.

Matchup & timing

Place it where extra population room will be useful and livestock can be protected. Since the wagon is a one-time delivery, scout the site before moving it away from the army or workers that can defend its route.

Housing and livestock support

The Chinese Village Rickshaw is a Home City shipment unit that is consumed to place a free Village. It has 250 hit points, 4.0 speed and 20% siege resistance, and builds the Village at the normal construction rate. The completed building provides population support and lets the Chinese fatten livestock, linking a shipment to both housing and food preparation. The wagon does not fatten animals itself and does not replace Villagers as gatherers. Chinese cards such as Rural Village and Urban Village affect access to Village Rickshaws, while Western Reforms and Land Reforms add other shipment paths. Since the structure is free but the wagon is one-time, use the location to address a real population or livestock need. Build it where livestock can be protected from raids and where the added population cap will support the planned unit queue.

Shipment count and home-city options

The Chinese Home City has several ways to access Village Rickshaws, including Rural Village and Urban Village. These cards make the wagon a deliberate housing delivery rather than a universally free starting unit. Choose between a Village placement and other shipment options based on population pressure and whether livestock can be kept safe near the new structure. A Village that is built too far from the economy can add capacity without helping the current production plan.
