Function & construction
Ethiopian Villagers, Hausa Builders and other listed construction units can build a War Camp. Its unit and upgrade options depend on the selected civilization, its Age and access to allies. The building name alone does not describe the entire African roster, which can also use specialized production and resource systems.
Placement & timing
Build it when the army needs African infantry or cavalry, then check alliance access before committing to a specific composition. Keep the Camp near protected reinforcement routes. Add further production only when the economy can sustain the queues and the army needs faster replacement.
Check the African roster and age options
The War Camp trains infantry and cavalry, but its options differ between Hausa and Ethiopians and can depend on Age and Native alliances. Eligible Villagers, Hausa Builders, and other listed constructors can establish it. Select the production site based on the unit line needed, then protect it so the army can maintain replacements.
Choose production for the selected African civilization
The War Camp trains infantry and cavalry, with its roster and upgrades changing between Hausa and Ethiopians and by Age or Native access. Hausa Builders and eligible Ethiopian Villagers can construct it. Check the available unit list before placing it, then defend the building so reinforcements can reach the army.
African infantry and cavalry production
The War Camp is the main African military building for training and upgrading infantry and cavalry. It becomes available from the Commerce Age and costs 200 Wood; construction takes about 30 seconds and the structure has 2,500 hit points. Ethiopian Villagers, Hausa Builders and other listed workers can construct it. The available roster depends on the civilization, Age and alliance, so a War Camp does not offer the same units to every African faction.
Building a protected reinforcement line
Place the Camp where troops can reach the army quickly without leaving production exposed to raids. Hausa and Ethiopian forces may rely on different support systems and specialized buildings, so check the roster before committing to a unit composition. Build additional Camps only when the economy can keep their queues active and the army needs faster replacement. Protect the structure during a push; losing the main production route can interrupt the reinforcement timing. Pair War Camp troops with units that cover their counters, then adjust production after scouting the opponent’s army.
