Role, availability & values

The wagon trains in 2.5 seconds, has 250 hit points, 20% siege resistance, speed 4.0 and line of sight 12; its limit is 10. It can build a House, Trading Post, Livestock Market, Port or War Camp for free. Arewa is required to build a Watch Tower. The wagon itself still costs 200 Influence.

Matchup & timing

Use it to place a structure where the map needs one without tying up Villagers for the construction task. Choose the structure and route before dispatch: a free building still costs the wagon’s Influence, travel time and risk of loss. Protect it on the way to a forward Trading Post, Port or War Camp, and keep Arewa research in mind if the intended structure is a Watch Tower.

Select from the Hausa infrastructure menu

The builder costs 200 Influence, has 250 hit points, moves at 4.0 speed, and takes 2.5 seconds to train from the Town Center. It can construct a House, Trading Post, Livestock Market, Port, or War Camp for free; Arewa unlocks the Watch Tower option. Choose the structure before dispatch and guard the wagon until it finishes construction.

Influence-funded free building wagon

The Hausa Builder is a mobile construction unit trained at the Town Center for 200 Influence. It can build a House, Trading Post, Livestock Market, Port or War Camp for free, and can build a Watch Tower when the Arewa technology is active. At 250 hit points, four speed and 12 line of sight, it transports construction capacity but does not gather resources or fight as a normal military unit.

Choose a building and protect the route

Select the structure that answers the current map need: a House for population, a Trading Post for route control, a Livestock Market for the economy, a Port for water access, or a War Camp for production. Arewa is required for Watch Tower construction. The free building still costs Influence and travel time, so choose a safe site and escort the wagon across contested ground. A completed forward building is valuable only if the Hausa army can defend it.
