Yukon
Yukon is a northern Canadian map with cold-region terrain, forests and wildlife. The generated layout determines how quickly a player must move to replacement Hunts and how safe the woodlines and mine approaches are.

Map character
Scout new Food sources before the nearest herd is exhausted. Check the routes between forest openings and mines so workers are not isolated, and note which clearings provide a safe path for an army. Resource placement changes between matches even though the regional setting remains recognizable.
What to scout
Expand toward a defensible cluster of resources and keep a mobile response near long gathering routes. Protect workers as hunts move away from the Town Center, and avoid sending the entire army through a narrow forest opening without scouting. Use the map’s wildlife as a timing cue to plan the next Food source.
Manage the northern resource rotation
The map’s forests and clearings shape access to Hunts, mines, and replacement resources. Scout beyond the first herd before it is exhausted, and check that workers can travel between forest openings without being isolated. A safe army route may differ from the shortest worker path. Resource placement is generated, so verify the current match rather than following a fixed build order.
Treat the first herd as a timer for expansion
Yukon’s northern setting includes forests and wildlife, but the generated position of Hunts, mines and clearings changes between matches. The opening herd is therefore both a Food source and a timer: as it is depleted, Villagers may need to travel farther from the Town Center. Scout a replacement Hunt early and identify whether the route passes through a narrow forest gap or open ground where workers can be raided. Move the gathering line before the first resource is completely gone if the next site is exposed.
Plan safe paths between resources and production
Woodlines and mines can be separated by forest openings, so the shortest route on the map is not always the safest path for Villagers or reinforcements. Use the Explorer to reveal connections and note a route the army can take without entering an unseen choke point. Place production where it can support the workers who are expanding away from the Town Center, and keep a mobile response near long gathering routes. Because resource positions vary, adapt the plan to the current generation rather than assuming a fixed Yukon build order.
