Player approach
His Own Man is a chain of city captures that unlocks Ages and resources. Use the Relic transport to take Pesaro, then protect the foothold while opening a safe path to Rimini.
Step-by-step plan
Load the Monk carrying the Relic with a bodyguard and land by Pesaro’s Monastery to transfer the first base and unlock Castle Age. Build a small fleet and lure Rimini’s Fire Ship toward the new Watch Tower before sending ships and the transport to the second Monastery. Use the starting cavalry to collect neutral units while the cities are captured, then construct Trebuchets for the next target.
Risks and adjustments
Do not send the transport into Rimini’s harbor before the defending Fire Ship is drawn out. Keep the Monk protected and avoid scattering cavalry away from the city transfer objectives.
