Overview

A guided first mission introducing selection, movement, fog of war, attack commands, and a short fight.

Player approach

Marching and Fighting is a short William Wallace tutorial that builds the force as the player follows route markers. Keep the Militia moving through fog of war and use the added units to clear the English Outpost.

Step-by-step plan

Guide the starting Militia from flag to flag, entering the unexplored area to reach the third marker. At the fourth, gather the two additional Militia and Knight, then move along the road to destroy the appearing English Outpost. Continue to the Scottish village, which joins your side, and regroup there to defeat the three Militia that attack.

Risks and adjustments

Do not leave the new units behind when the route opens. The lesson is short, but advancing without the Knight and additional Militia makes the final village defense less reliable.
