Tours
Two separated Frankish forces must survive a coordinated land-and-sea attack. Reunite Charles Martel with Tours, then secure the enemy baggage train; if a cart is lost, defeating both hostile armies becomes necessary.

Overview
Two separated Frankish forces must survive a coordinated land-and-sea attack. Reunite Charles Martel with Tours, then secure the enemy baggage train; if a cart is lost, defeating both hostile armies becomes necessary.
Player approach
Tours starts with its economy and defenders in the north while the mobile army waits in the south. Capturing the Trade Carts in Poitiers can provide a quick objective route, but the city is heavily defended.
Step-by-step plan
Use Charles Martel and the starting cavalry to scout Poitiers’ walls and openings, then decide whether the Trade Cart route is safe enough for a fast strike. If not, return to Tours, build the economy from its gold and stone, and create an army before pushing the city. Use the Guard Towers and any starting Castle to protect the base while the southern force regroups.
Risks and adjustments
A direct gate breach exposes the army to a fortified city and can cost the only mobile force. Do not send units one at a time; either commit to a coordinated cart raid or build toward a supported siege.
