Hindustanis Strategy

Overview
Hindustanis: Use cheaper Villagers to keep Town Center production moving while preparing safe Feudal pressure. Camel Riders and ranged or gunpowder support replace the conventional Knight-centered plan.
Opening decision and first timing
Cheaper Villagers make continuous Town Center production easier, but do not spend the saved food without considering the next Age and military queue. A light Feudal force can keep the map visible while the economy grows. Scout for enemy cavalry before deciding whether Camel production should be the first Castle Age priority.
Composition, counters, and transition
Fast-attacking Camels and Imperial Camel Riders can anchor a mounted matchup. Ghulams pressure ranged lines from another angle, while armored gunpowder units broaden the late-game composition. None is a universal answer: screen gunpowder from cavalry and avoid feeding Camels into a non-mounted army. Caravanserais matter in long trade games, after the primary economy and route are secure.
Opening priorities
Use cheaper Villagers to keep Town Center production moving while preparing safe Feudal pressure.
Core army
Camel Riders and ranged or gunpowder support replace the conventional Knight-centered plan.
Technology & transition
Carry the economic lead into Castle and Imperial Age, choosing camels, gunpowder, and siege to match the opponent.
Watch for
There is no Knight line; do not treat Camels as a direct substitute in every matchup.
