Overview
Magyars: Use the cheaper Scout Cavalry and free attack research to create an efficient Feudal raid. Scouts can transition into Knights or Cavalry Archers, letting the army keep its mobility.
Opening decision and first timing
Free melee attack research and cheaper Scout Cavalry make a Feudal raid resource-efficient. Build toward continuous Stable production, then hit exposed workers or force small walls before the opponent has massed Spearmen. Preserve the first Scouts if the base closes; they can still reveal expansions and protect a transition.
Composition, counters, and transition
Magyar Huszars are a mobile choice against siege after Castle production is ready, and Recurve Bow supports a later Cavalry Archer plan. These are different investment paths: secure ranged upgrades and gold before switching to the latter. Use the free attack improvements on the unit line already active instead of training every melee option at once.
Opening priorities
Use the cheaper Scout Cavalry and free attack research to create an efficient Feudal raid.
Core army
Scouts can transition into Knights or Cavalry Archers, letting the army keep its mobility.
Technology & transition
Maintain pressure while adding economy, then use the strong cavalry options for Castle and Imperial Age.
Watch for
Defenses and economic bonuses are limited; scout counterattacks and avoid losing the early army for little gain.
