Manipur Cavalry helps Burmese mounted units pressure archers, supporting a cavalry response to civilizations with strong ranged lines. Pair that pressure with units that protect cavalry from spear counters.
Plan and execution
Research Manipur Cavalry when the opponent’s Archery Range units are the main obstacle. Use Cavaliers, Hussars, or Battle Elephants to threaten the ranged line while Arambai or infantry handle Halberdiers and other counters. Keep the mounted force mobile and attack from multiple angles rather than taking a direct ranged exchange.
Risks and adaptation
The bonus does not make cavalry immune to Halberdiers or siege. Burmese Skirmishers remain limited, so scout the enemy’s support units and do not send mounted forces into a prepared spear screen alone.
