Overview

Mountain Pass begins with scattered Villagers, no Town Center, and no Scout. Forests and Sheep are plentiful, but mountain decoys and narrow routes make the first settlement decision important.

Plan and execution

Regroup the Villagers before committing to a Town Center site. Check nearby Sheep and wood, then settle where the first economy can reach food while keeping a defensible route through the pass. Use buildings to narrow the approach and scout before expanding toward distant mines.

Risks and adaptation

An isolated settlement can be cut off by the pass or built beside an impassable mountain. Do not assume the first visible gap is traversable; keep Villagers together until the route and resources are clear.
