Servant of the Crown escape-and-fortify plan
Servant of the Crown spans multiple phases, so rescue choices and preserved units shape later missions. Secure the opening escape, keep useful Bolas Riders, and funnel counterattacks toward crossings your defenses can cover.

Overview
Servant of the Crown spans multiple phases, so rescue choices and preserved units shape later missions. Secure the opening escape, keep useful Bolas Riders, and funnel counterattacks toward crossings your defenses can cover.
Plan and execution
During the first phase, heal and regroup before beginning each Wooden Fort construction. Use Lautaro to draw small attacks away from the builders, and preserve Bolas Riders because their ranged pressure helps against later Slingers and Hand Cannoneers. When the escape begins, leave a detachment to clear the production camp that turns hostile at your flank. After reaching the base, wall the vulnerable shallow crossings so the enemy approaches the crossing covered by your Castle and allied position. Choose the miner or farmer rescue according to the campaign economy you expect to need most, then preserve Guacolda and the veteran force between missions.
Risks and adaptation
Higher difficulty adds patrols and makes the allied crossing defense less reliable. Do not pull the entire army across the river during a raid, and avoid starting a fort while the nearby attackers can overwhelm the builders. The rescue bonus carries through the campaign, so decide based on your resource bottleneck rather than the immediate mission alone.
