Overview
Slavs: Use efficient farming to fund a Feudal army or a quick transition to stronger infantry. Infantry and siege work well together, with free Arson supporting attacks on buildings.
Opening decision and first timing
Faster farming supports a steady food queue for infantry or cavalry, and free Arson and Gambesons make a Barracks force better suited to building pressure and ranged exchanges. Scout before sending it into a Crossbow mass. Keep Farms and production balanced so the food bonus becomes more units rather than an idle stockpile.
Composition, counters, and transition
Cheaper Siege Workshop units pair with infantry to attack walls and static defenses. Boyars offer a heavy mounted alternative when a Castle and gold income can be secured. Faster Monks help contest Relics and support slow armies, but must travel behind a screen. An offensive siege push should still leave enough vision and troops to protect exposed Farms from a counterraid.
Opening priorities
Use efficient farming to fund a Feudal army or a quick transition to stronger infantry.
Core army
Infantry and siege work well together, with free Arson supporting attacks on buildings.
Technology & transition
Scale farms and siege production into Castle Age, then use infantry upgrades to maintain pressure.
Watch for
Do not confuse a strong offensive with strong static defense; protect exposed economy with scouting and army placement.
