Overview

The Digvijaya (HD Edition) begins with Delhi and Ajmer as separate settlements. Preserve at least one Castle, rely on trade for early gold, and use the two towns to anchor a stable defense.

Plan and execution

Treat Delhi as the main production base and keep its Castle protected while assigning the Ajmer Villagers to their stone work. Continue the starting trade with the Indian Villages until a safe gold deposit is found, and use the Markets to rebalance resources. Scout beyond both towns before committing to a distant fight, then expand the army without leaving either Castle exposed. If one city comes under pressure, move the reserve force to defend its Castle rather than trying to hold every outpost.

Risks and adaptation

The scenario can be lost if both starting Castles fall. Nearby gold is not initially safe, so do not rely on mining before scouting; preserve the trade route and avoid splitting the army between distant fronts.
