Overview

Farms replace finite food sources with renewable income; start as nearby hunt and berries run low.

Plan and execution

Watch remaining food, reserve wood as it declines, and place each Farm around protected drop-off points. Consider Horse Collar before a large farm investment and later Farm upgrades when their cost fits the plan. Maintain enough wood income for both Farms and production.

Risks and adaptation

Farms are vulnerable and compete for wood. Spread them where possible and redirect workers if food demand falls. Keep the Lumber Camp productive through the change and add Farms in protected clusters. Begin with enough to support current queues, then expand as food income and map safety permit.
