Overview

Water Nomad starts without a Town Center and mixes scattered workers with Fishing Ships, so a dry settlement site and protected fishing routes must develop together.

Plan and execution

Use the starting fleet to scout nearby water and support the early food economy while workers search for buildable land. Establish a Town Center on a safe dry area, then add a Dock and naval production only as resources and nearby threats justify.

Risks and adaptation

Fishing income and workers can both be lost if the starting fleet is sent into an enemy Dock without support. Keep a land fallback, watch for raids on the settlement, and secure a route between fishing areas and shore.
