Overview

Winged Hussar: Winged Hussars provide fast raids and can threaten Monks more effectively than earlier Scout Cavalry-line forms. Their mobility helps maintain pressure when gold is running low and the opponent is defending several approaches.

Plan and execution

Send small groups along separate routes toward exposed resources, then pull them out before the defender can close the exits. Keep another group near siege or ranged units to chase Monks and protect the main army from conversion attempts. Replenish the raid from nearby Stables instead of marching the whole force across the map.

Risks and adaptation

Spearmen, Camels, and defensive buildings can blunt repeated attacks. Do not throw Winged Hussars into a prepared frontline; use them to stretch the defense and preserve stronger gold units for the decisive fight.
