A Mine of Unknown Origin is a special scenario building that generates Coin automatically and can be constructed by the Unknown Miner. It is separate from the ordinary mines placed on random maps, and its access and construction rules are controlled by the scenario.

Function & construction

The recorded mine generates 3 Coin per second and supports up to eight builders. The Unknown Miner is the listed constructor. Costs, construction time and availability may be scripted in the mission or Scenario Editor setup, so inspect that instance rather than applying a standard Mine profile.

Placement & timing

Protect the site while it is being built if its passive Coin is important to the scenario’s economy. Once active, defend the building and the route to it so the income can continue. Do not include it in an ordinary Age-up or random-map build order; it exists in special content and may be unavailable elsewhere.

Scenario income without a normal mine deposit

This object produces Coin at a fixed 3-per-second rate rather than asking Villagers to extract a finite vein. Up to eight builders can construct it in the recorded profile, but its cost and build time depend on the mission. The combination of passive income and scenario-specific access can make it a key objective; protect it after completion and check the mission rules for whether it can be captured, destroyed or replaced.
