Inca coastal support and transport
The Chincha Raft is an Inca Commerce Age naval unit trained at a European Dock for 200 Wood and 150 Coin. It has 575 hit points, 60% ranged resistance, speed 8.0 and line of sight 29. It can transport land units, gather from fish and whales, and—when the Floating Islands card is active—train Fishing Boats and additional Chincha Rafts. Its siege attack deals 25 damage in a three-hit profile at range 20 every two seconds; listed damage is reduced against Artillery and Villagers, so it is not a general-purpose duelist. The ship is valuable on maps where water provides a safe route to resources or an alternate landing. Keep it close to shore when using its production function, protect it while it carries an army and unload where the troops can move onto defensible ground. The Floating Islands card changes the raft’s economic and production role, so include that card in the plan before relying on repeated ship production. Because the hull is lighter than many dedicated warships, avoid exposing it to concentrated naval fire without support.
Floating Islands card interaction
The Floating Islands card is what adds the raft’s ability to train Fishing Boats and more Chincha Rafts. Without it, the ship’s core value remains its transport, fishing and naval support rather than an independent production chain. If the card is part of the plan, protect the raft close to shore so it can train units while remaining available to gather or carry troops. Choose the card when a water economy can repay its shipment opportunity cost, and check that the map offers enough fish and safe shoreline to make the function useful.
Combat limits
Its attack profile is primarily siege damage and has penalties against Artillery and Villagers. Use the raft to support a water crossing or fishing position, and rely on dedicated warships when the enemy contests the sea.
Inca transport and only warship
The Chincha Raft is a Definitive Edition Inca Commerce Age warship trained at the European Dock. It costs 200 Wood and 150 Coin, takes 36 seconds to build and has a limit of eight. The raft has 575 hit points, 60% ranged resistance, speed eight and sight 29, and can transport up to 50 land units. It gathers from Fish and Whales; the Floating Islands card also lets it train Fishing Boats and more Chincha Rafts. Its projectile attack releases three shots for 25 damage at range 20, with reduced damage against Artillery and Villagers. As the Incas’ only warship in the listed roster, it has to cover both escort and water-control needs.
Protect the landing and fishing route
Use the raft’s transport capacity to move a land army across a water barrier or establish a new front, but scout the landing before the crossing and keep escort ships nearby where the map permits. Its 60% ranged resistance helps against projectiles but does not make it safe from every ship or Siege attack. The multiple-projectile attack can pressure naval targets, though the reduced modifiers against Artillery and Villagers limit its value against shore units. Fishing and Whale gathering can support the Inca economy while the raft remains in safe water. Floating Islands changes its production options and should be included in the deck if the plan relies on a renewable fleet; without that card, use the normal Dock queue and respect the eight-unit cap.
Naval range and area-damage changes
Chincha Raft is an Inca warship with both ranged and siege attack profiles. Its current hit points are 575 and line of sight 29; it had 550 hit points before update 9476 and line of sight 34 before update 13.8214. The current ranged attack deals 25 damage per projectile across three projectiles, with area 1, compared with 29 damage before update 13.8214 and area 2 before update 3552. Its maximum ranged reach is 20, down from 22 before update 13.58326, 25 before update 13.8214 and 28 before update 9476. The siege range follows the same current maximum 20, compared with 32 before update 9476. The current ranged modifier is 0.34× against Artillery and 0.25× against Villagers. Its shorter reach and tighter area than old profiles describe make positioning and target selection especially important in naval fights.
