Factory Wagon (shipment)
Factory Wagon is a Consulate or National Government research option that delivers one wagon able to establish a Factory. The same name covers distinct civilization routes: Chinese and Act III: India records use the Consulate, while Japan can obtain the wagon through Meiji Restoration. Their Age requirements and Export costs differ, so the Japanese Imperial Age option should not be read as the Chinese Industrial Age technology.

Factory construction shipment
Research takes 30 seconds. Chinese and Act III: India variants are listed in the Industrial Age for 800 Export; Japan’s Meiji Restoration variant is listed in the Imperial Age for 600 Export and is associated with the National Government. The reward is one Factory Wagon, which must be placed and unpacked to create the building. The wagon does not itself perform the Factory’s ongoing production; after construction, use the Factory’s controls and production rules. A deployed Factory is a valuable fixed asset, so choose a protected site with room for its operation.

Civilization-specific access
For China, weigh the high Industrial Age Export cost against the long-term production value of a Factory and the remaining match time. For Japan, account for the Imperial Age timing and Meiji Restoration requirement before relying on it as an economy or artillery option. The Indian appearance belongs to Act III rather than a general multiplayer Indian tree. Check the linked Factory page for what the completed building can produce; do not treat the delivered wagon as an immediate resource shipment.
Turn the shipment into a protected Factory
Factory Wagon has 500 hit points, speed 4.0, line of sight 18 and 20% siege resistance; it constructs the Factory at three times the ordinary rate. The fast build reduces how long the site remains unfinished, but the wagon still has to reach the location and the completed Factory remains a valuable stationary target. Select a position inside the army’s response area, with room for the Factory’s production and protection from raids. Remember that the Chinese and Indian scenario versions are Industrial Age Consulate choices, while Japan’s Meiji Restoration version is Imperial Age National Government access.
