Hambacher Fest
Hambacher Fest is a Revolution technology for the German Confederation in The Baltic Powers. It is researched at the Capitol after the Frankfurt Assembly Home City Card has been sent. Its reward scales with Town Centers, Trading Posts and Forts already present, paying out both Wood and Citizens rather than granting a fixed force regardless of the settlement.

Effect & research conditions
Research takes 40 seconds and costs 400 Wood. For each Town Center, Trading Post and Fort on the map, the technology delivers two Cords of Wood (200 Wood) and two Settlers, up to 20 of each building type. The supplied Settlers have a listed cost of 50 Food and 35 Coin each; Settler Wagons cost 80 Food and 42 Coin. The number of buildings is therefore central to the final delivery, subject to the per-type caps.
Research condition
German Confederation; Revolution; Capitol; Frankfurt Assembly card sent; 40-second research; 400 Wood; two Cords of Wood (200 Wood) and two Settlers per Town Center, Trading Post and Fort, up to 20 of each building type.
When to research
Where the match allows it, establish useful Town Centers, Trading Posts and Forts before completing the research so the building-based reward can count them. Leave population room and arrange a safe rally for the Citizens. Do not build structures solely for the reward without weighing their own cost and strategic use against the Wood and Settlers gained.
The delivery is calculated from buildings on the map
The game counts Town Centers, Trading Posts and Forts when the research resolves. Each category can contribute up to 20 buildings, and each counted building provides two Cords of Wood plus two Settlers. The result can therefore differ substantially between a compact settlement and one that has expanded its infrastructure.
Account for the Frankfurt Assembly prerequisite
The Capitol option is conditional on the German Confederation Revolution and the Frankfurt Assembly card. This is not a standard technology available to every German civilization in an ordinary age. Plan the revolution and card sequence before investing in buildings for the scaled reward.
