Inuit Qamutiks spawn 1 Inuit Hunter and 1 Husky on death; Enables Huskies to be trained at Trading Posts/Tambos built on Inuit settlements and Native Embassies

Effect & research conditions

Research takes 30 seconds and costs 200 Wood and 100 Coin. Afterward, each Inuit Qamutik that dies produces one Inuit Hunter and one Husky. Huskies can also be trained at Trading Posts or Tambos built on Inuit settlements and at Native Embassies. The effect therefore has both a Qamutik-triggered unit delivery and a persistent training unlock.

Research condition

Available from the Commerce Age. Research it at Trading Post or Tambo on an Inuit settlement.

When to research

Research when Inuit Qamutiks and the settlement access are part of the army plan. Huskies add a follow-up force when a Qamutik is lost, but this does not make the wagon expendable: its transport or other battlefield role can still be more valuable than the spawned units. Preserve population space and protect the Inuit Hunter and Husky after they appear.

Two separate effects

The first effect is triggered when an Inuit Qamutik dies and creates one Inuit Hunter plus one Husky. The second is a lasting production unlock for Huskies at Native Embassies and at Trading Posts or Tambos on Inuit settlements. These effects serve different moments: one responds to losses, while the other gives access to further training.

Protect the units that remain

The death delivery does not refund the Qamutik or guarantee that its new units survive. Keep space under the population cap and bring the Inuit Hunter and Husky back toward the army or a safe position. Use the trained Husky option when an additional unit is needed without relying on another Qamutik loss.
