When to research
Research before producing or committing Klamath Riflemen to a fight where their 25% damage increase can accumulate across several volleys. The effect is limited to that unit line, so it has little value if the army is not using Riflemen. Complete the 10-second research at a secure Klamath site and keep resources for the units that will use the bonus.
Klamath Rifleman damage

Use it with Klamath Riflemen
The increase applies only to Klamath Riflemen, so its value depends on continued access to that unit. Keep the Klamath settlement secure and train the Riflemen after the unlock. If the army uses other Native units, spend the resources where they will benefit.
