Training & availability
Indian Consulate Banner Army; Commerce Age; select Ottoman Allies; 400 Export; 20 seconds; 6 population; 3 Rumeliots in current Definitive Edition.
Matchup & timing
Choose the package when Rumeliots fit the army’s current need and the six-population commitment is affordable. Three units can reinforce a push but should not be expected to hold a broad front alone. Keep them with support and consult the Rumeliot entry for individual combat details; use this company page for delivery count, building access and timing.
A small group with a six-population commitment
The package delivers three units in 20 seconds, using six population in total. That means the units are individually population-intensive and the reinforcement should have a clear purpose before it is ordered. Check the battlefield and the Consulate’s other choices, then ensure the group has a safe route to join the army rather than walking alone into enemy fire.
Current name and earlier units
The Indian Consulate company costs 400 Export and delivers three units in 20 seconds for six population after Ottoman Allies are selected in the Commerce Age. In the current Definitive Edition roster they are Rumeliots. Older sources call them Gardeners, then Bostancis; update 13.27885 changed the company to Rumeliots. These names reflect successive versions of the same Consulate company.
Compact close-combat reinforcement
Three Rumeliots arrive as a small mobile group, so use them to complement an army rather than act as its only line. Their role differs from the larger Ottoman Expeditionary Force, which adds Baghdad Janissaries in the Fortress Age. Check which formation fits the opponent and preserve population for the rest of the army.
