Finish it before the affected force enters combat, and retain resources for counters and reinforcements; this modifier does not remove the units’ other weaknesses. First upgrade in the Hetman line
Sapieha Hetmans is a Fortress Age Polish Sejm technology, or a Rada technology for the Cossack Hetmanate. It costs 400 Food and takes 30 seconds. It adds 250 hit points and 15% damage to the Hetman and revives him fully healed. Tarnowski Hetmans follows for Poles; Khmelnytsky Hetmans follows on the Cossack Hetmanate route.
Upgrade before the hero is lost
The revival effect restores the Hetman after defeat, but the hero still needs time to return to the fight. Research while the Sejm or Rada is safe and account for the 30-second delay. This is the first stage of a multi-age line, so compare later investments with the role the Hetman will play.
