Khmelnytsky Hetmans is a Fortress Age technology for the Cossack Hetmanate in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition - The Baltic Powers. It strengthens and restores the Hetman, including reviving him if he has fallen.

Effect & research conditions
Research at the Rada for 500 Food and 500 Coin; it takes 30 seconds and requires Sapieha Hetmans and the Cossack Code of Law Home City Card. It adds 1,300 hit points and 60% damage to the Hetman, then fully heals him. This is faction-specific, not an army-wide bonus.

Available to Cossack Hetmanate from the Fortress Age. Research it at Rada. It requires Sapieha Hetmans.
When to research
Research after the prerequisite when the Hetman can anchor the army or his revival changes an engagement. The cost competes with rebuilding the army. Protect him afterward; revival does not prevent another defeat.
A staged Cossack command upgrade
Sapieha Hetmans unlocks this research, and the Cossack Code of Law card must also be in effect. The technology improves the hero and restores him to full health. It does not create a second Hetman or improve other Cossack units. Concentrated fire can still remove him.
Name and faction context
The name refers to Bohdan Khmelnytsky, the seventeenth-century Cossack leader associated with the uprising that established the Cossack Hetmanate. In game, it belongs to the Baltic Powers revolutionary faction and its Hetman progression. Distinguish it from the earlier Sapieha Hetmans research: this effect applies specifically to the Hetman and requires the revolution, card and prerequisite.
