Function & values

The mode-specific structure costs 500 Wood and 200 Coin, takes 60 seconds to build, has a limit of three, and has 5,000 hit points on an 8-by-8 footprint. A Haudenosaunee War Chief or Lakota War Chief builds it. It can garrison up to 50 eligible units; land military units take four seconds to load.

When to use it

Use it when the Independence scenario benefits from a defended production and shipment point for the Haudenosaunee or Lakota. The building limit of three supports several positions, but each costs resources and requires a 60-second construction window. Plan deployments and keep mobile troops available against siege outside its coverage.

Mode restrictions are part of the building’s identity

This is not the standard Inca Stronghold. It is available only in Independence mode and belongs to the Haudenosaunee and Lakota in The Baltic Powers. Its costs, build limit, footprint and hit points differ from the Inca building, so use this page for the mode-specific profile and the Stronghold entry for the Inca version.

Use the extra building limit for objective coverage

The limit of three can support several defended positions, but each site needs a clear purpose: protect production, secure a route or create a reinforcement point. The 8-by-8 footprint and 60-second construction time make placement consequential. Keep builders covered and avoid exposing every structure to the same siege approach.

Garrison and attacks

The Stronghold can hold up to 50 eligible units and attacks nearby enemies with a ranged attack and a separate anti-ship attack. Land military units take four seconds to load. Deploy the garrison when the scenario calls for it; the building remains vulnerable to siege and cannot cover threats beyond its attack range.
