Matchup & timing
Warriors are free, zero-population troops produced continuously by Call the People Ceremony, not ordinary ranged infantry to keep in a standing army. They have 100 hit points, move at 4.0 speed and deal 20 ranged damage with a 2× modifier against Siege units, but lose 2% of maximum hit points every second until only one remains. Use the ceremony when an immediate defense or push can absorb new arrivals, then move each wave toward the fight; idle Warriors disappear quickly. The ceremony stops at eight Warriors, so switch the Plaza to another task or send the force before its output is capped.
Community Plaza unit and health decay
Warrior is a ranged unit called through the Community Plaza’s Call the People Ceremony. It costs no population, and its production timing is governed by the ceremony rather than a standard building queue. The profile lists 100 hit points, 20% hand resistance, speed 4.0 and line of sight 15. The ranged attack deals 20 damage at range 12 every three seconds, with a 2× bonus against Siege units and 0.25× damage against Villagers. The hand attack deals 13, while its siege attack is five. Warrior loses two percent of maximum hit points every second until it is left with one hit point. This rapid decay makes it a temporary summon: choose a nearby siege target, complete the ceremony at the right time and move the unit into combat promptly. Do not allow Warriors to sit idle after appearing, and protect them from ordinary army units. The zero population cost is useful for adding short-term strength without reducing the army cap, but the ceremony uses Villager labor and the unit’s lifespan is limited. Use the Plaza page to compare Call the People with other ceremonies available to the civilization.
Ceremony timing and decay
The Community Plaza’s Call the People Ceremony determines when Warriors arrive. Their lack of population cost can temporarily reinforce an army, but their health falls by two percent of maximum each second until one hit point remains. Coordinate the ceremony with a nearby Siege unit or building target, then send Warriors directly into that fight. They deal 20 ranged damage with a 2× bonus against Siege units, making them most useful as temporary siege pressure. They deal only one-quarter damage against Villagers, so do not divert the summon into a raid. Because their appearance uses Plaza labor and their service window is short, finish the ceremony when the army can immediately take advantage. The Warriors’ 100 hit points and 4.0 speed help them reach a nearby target, but they should be screened from defenders. When the objective is complete, let the ceremony end and return Plaza workers to gathering.
Temporary summon
Warriors should reach a target as soon as Call the People completes. Their health decay is constant, and their strongest role is the 2× bonus against Siege units.
Ceremony coordination
The Call the People ceremony uses Community Plaza workers. Time the summon for a nearby fight because Warriors lose health every second once called.
A temporary Call the People Ceremony summon
The Warrior is produced through the Community Plaza’s Call the People Ceremony rather than an ordinary military queue. Its unusual health rule is central to using it: it loses 2% of its maximum hit points each second until only one hit point remains. Treat it as a temporary force and spend its limited lifetime on a defined objective. The 20-damage ranged attack has a 2× bonus against Siege units, giving the summon a clear job when enemy artillery threatens the army; its attack is heavily reduced against Villagers. It can also contribute against structures or occupy a frontline briefly, but it should not be mistaken for a permanent unit that can be held back indefinitely.
Coordinate ceremony timing with the army
Call the People begins from the Exploration Age and provides the Warrior at the Community Plaza, with the ceremony controlling the production timing. Start it when the army is ready to use the resulting unit, not while it must travel across a long or unsafe route. The Warrior’s zero population cost helps a force approach its population limit without blocking ordinary production, but the summon still needs a target and protection from counters. Send it toward Siege units when those are present, coordinate its attack with the main force and avoid spending its short active window on an empty chase. Other ceremony options may better serve an economic or defensive need, so choose this call when the immediate temporary anti-siege pressure has value.
