Harp Crossbow

The Harp Crossbow is a unique crossbow in Minecraft Dungeons II that is half musical instrument and fully a weapon. Every shot carries a 60% chance to loose additional projectiles alongside the main bolt — and it earns an A tier rating for calculated DPS, among the highest of any ranged weapon.
Stats and mechanics
Its unique Ranger effect grants a 60% chance to fire additional projectiles on each shot, multiplying output against groups with no extra input. The light weight and Summoner + Support archetype keep it quick to handle, and bolts fly faster than arrows. Bolts are unlimited and self-regenerating, so the barrage never stops. Enchantments that add on-hit effects scale especially well here, since extra projectiles mean extra chances to trigger them.
How to get it
The Harp Crossbow drops in Howling Woods, Rainy Plains and Lullaby Hills, or as a quest reward. It appears as the unique roll of the Scatter Crossbow — any Scatter Crossbow drop can come out as this one, so farming that weapon's drop sources is the way to hunt it.
Builds and playstyles
The Harp Crossbow is a crowd-clearing specialist featured in two noted best builds: the S-tier Unlimited-arrow archer campaign build and the S-tier endgame Prime jump build built around Prime Enchanter's Gauntlets. It pairs beautifully with enchanting choices that trigger on hits, since more projectiles mean more triggers. The Scatter Crossbow is its closest non-unique cousin, while The Cross Pollinator offers a different route to more shots per second. For a plain bolt shooter, start with the Crossbow or the Rapid Crossbow.
