Campaign mission sequence

Lead Liu Bei through the upheavals that reshape late Han China. Mission order and scenario notes: 1. The Oath of the Peach Garden — Liu Bei begins the rebellion with a small volunteer band. Gather his sworn brothers, choose an army composition, and push through rebel-held settlements to take control of a friendly base. Freeing villages and disrupting the rebels can weaken the enemy before the final assault 2. Heroes of the Realm — Liu Bei arrives to protect Tao Qian from Cao Cao. Survive the initial siege and preserve the settlement’s people until Lü Bu’s sudden intervention changes the balance of power. Once the new threat takes over, rally the remaining forces and defeat him 3. The Scholar and the Sandal Maker — Liu Bei’s search for Zhuge Liang leads through mountain ambushes into a two-front defense. Find a safe route to the scholar, then establish a foothold and withstand Cao Cao’s attack. A vulnerable enemy structure can be exploited to disrupt the Vanguard before the final fight 4. The Great Escape — Cao Cao’s forces pursue Liu Bei’s scattered followers across the countryside. Move quickly, free villages to gather a civilian convoy, and keep the carriages ahead of the pursuing army. Cross the river, reunite the heroes, and reach the Sun Clan’s stronghold 5. The Battle of Red Cliffs (Liu Bei) — Liu Bei and Sun Quan prepare a joint defense against Cao Cao’s overwhelming army. Use the preparation window to weaken the northern fleet, then respond to the landing and make a strategic choice about the alliance. That decision changes the final victory conditions
