Sun Clan
Guide the Sun family through the conflicts that establish the southern kingdom.

Overview
Guide the Sun family through the conflicts that establish the southern kingdom.
Scenario details
Guide the Sun family through the conflicts that establish the southern kingdom. Mission order and scenario notes: 1. The Imperial Seal — Sun Jian enters a divided Luoyang in search of the Imperial Seal. Capture districts to gain territory and resources while rival forces contest the city; the number required depends on the selected difficulty 2. The Conquest of Jiangdong — Sun Ce begins his campaign to unite the lower Yangtze region. Choose a force suited to the challenge, gather support from nearby settlements, and defeat Liu Yao and Wang Lang to establish the Sun Clan’s foothold 3. The White Tiger — Sun Ce must turn nominal control of the south into a secure power base. Free five towns to gain villagers and infrastructure, withstand attacks from White Tiger Yan and Liu Biao, then destroy Yan’s stronghold 4. The Avenger — Sun Quan leads an expedition north to confront Liu Biao and avenge his family. The route is guarded by rival forces, so preserve a fortified position while pushing the hero through to the target 5. The Battle of Red Cliffs (Sun Clan) — Sun Quan and Liu Bei initially join forces to stop Cao Cao’s invasion. Retake the riverbank and drive back the landing force before attacking the northern camps. The alliance eventually fractures, adding Liu Bei to the list of enemies while Cao Cao’s Wonder creates a deadline Use the named objectives, starting setup, and mission order in this entry to distinguish it from the standard skirmish rules.
Player approach
The Battle of Red Cliffs (Sun Clan) begins with a strong enemy vanguard and rewards a prepared economy. Build a large mixed force, clear the eastern threat carefully, then use the fleet opportunity if the earlier escort was completed.
Step-by-step plan
Start Villager production and expand the economy while training a substantial line of Pikemen or Halberdiers with Fire Archers or Crossbowmen. Clear the Cao Cao vanguard near the eastern base in controlled groups. After the garrison is defeated, preserve the buildings that transfer to your control and convert them into production. If the naval engineer was escorted in the preceding mission, use the arriving Dragon Ships to challenge Cao Cao’s fleet rather than sending them into unsupported land fire.
Risks and adjustments
Legendary difficulty punishes a rushed attack before production is established. Avoid destroying buildings needed for the takeover, and keep the new ships together with supporting vessels.
