Sacred Waters Rajendra timing plan
Sacred Waters makes Rajendra’s position determine who controls captured cities’ production, while Mahipala’s Wonder creates a hard deadline. Queue key research before moving Rajendra, and use each liberated city as a forward production base.

Overview
Sacred Waters makes Rajendra’s position determine who controls captured cities’ production, while Mahipala’s Wonder creates a hard deadline. Queue key research before moving Rajendra, and use each liberated city as a forward production base.
Plan and execution
Leave Rajendra inside Vengi while the main force and fleet clear a route northwest to Kalinga. Research the core elephant, infantry, and naval upgrades before moving him into the captured city; then queue replacements while the army advances toward Indraratha’s Castle. Use Siege Elephants to draw defenders out, focus the king once the gate opens, and keep the new garrison ready for Kalinga’s counterattack. Continue toward Utkala through the rear approach, secure its city-control trigger, and send the main force back for the Relic Cart needed to unlock the next naval step. Clear the coastal route before transporting reinforcements, and measure every detour against the Wonder timer.
Risks and adaptation
Rajendra leaving a controlled city can return its production to the ally and erase queued units or research, so finish queues before relocating him. Do not spend time razing optional structures along the main route. Keep the fleet screening transports and save enough siege to open the required gates before the Wonder deadline becomes critical.
