Scout rush follow-through
Feudal Scouts create information and force defensive spending; the follow-through determines whether they remain useful after the first raid.

Overview
Feudal Scouts create information and force defensive spending; the follow-through determines whether they remain useful after the first raid.
Plan and execution
Use surviving Scouts to inspect the opponent’s transition and locate exposed resources. Add a small number only when they can reach workers safely; otherwise preserve them for vision or let them support a later cavalry transition.
Risks and adaptation
Spearmen, walls, and Town Centers shrink their options. Do not turn early damage into a costly dive; change routes or switch unit lines when the opponent is prepared.
Decision example
When the opponent closes the first target with small walls or Spearmen, move Scouts to vision rather than forcing another dive. Locate outside food, a new gold mine, and the military building that reveals the follow-up. If the defender spent heavily on anti-cavalry, Archers or a faster Castle Age may gain more than another Scout. Preserve healthy units to screen a later Knight group or to watch Relic routes, and keep Villagers working while making the transition.
