Steppe Husbandry speeds production of key Cuman cavalry lines, helping the player maintain Light Cavalry, Steppe Lancers, and Cavalry Archers from a compact Stable and Range network. Use it to sustain a mobile army.
Plan and execution
Research the technology when the economy can support continuous cavalry queues and the composition is already defined. Keep Stables and Archery Ranges active, rally reinforcements along safe routes, and use the faster replenishment to maintain raids or replace losses between fights. Combine it with Cuman mobility to reinforce one flank while the main force pressures another.
Risks and adaptation
The bonus does not affect Kipchaks or Genitours, so do not choose those units expecting the same production gain. Faster training cannot compensate for resource shortages or weak production placement; build the economy and buildings first.
