GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
Trebuchet target priority
Trebuchets are costly and slow to reposition, so selecting a target should reflect what actually constrains the enemy.

Overview
Trebuchets are costly and slow to reposition, so selecting a target should reflect what actually constrains the enemy.
Plan and execution
Prioritize a Castle or defensive structure that blocks expansion, a production hub sustaining the army, or a key fortified route. Keep vision on the target and screen the Trebuchets while they fire; reposition after the objective changes.
Risks and adaptation
Attacking an unimportant building can expose the siege line while the enemy raids elsewhere. Reassess the target when the defender moves or begins a counter-siege.
Decision example
Choose a first target that changes the map after it falls. Removing a Castle that covers the only forward gold can be worth a long protected siege; destroying an isolated House usually is not. Place the Trebuchets behind a unit screen and maintain vision with the army or an Outpost. If the defender dives the siege, save the engines before trying to finish a nearly destroyed building. Once the key structure falls, move the line toward the newly available resource or production area instead of firing at random nearby buildings.
