Bohemia
Bohemia is a Knights of the Mediterranean random map divided into four resource-rich quarters by crossing rivers. Each quarter has a Trading Post site and a Royal House, making river access and alliance control central to expansion.

Map character
Explore the river crossings and identify the nearest safe Coin and Wood before sending workers toward a route post. Habsburg, Jagiellon, Wettin and Wittelsbach are the listed Royal Houses; their positions create choices across the map, but no single player can assume every route site is safe to hold. Treasure guardians and scattered resources make Explorer scouting useful beyond the opening.
What to scout
Secure an accessible quarter first, then extend toward a Royal House or Trade Route segment your army can reinforce. The perpendicular rivers expose isolated workers and make full route control difficult, so avoid dividing the army among all four quarters. Choose an alliance for a specific roster need and protect its Trading Post.
Map identity and opening reconnaissance
Bohemia is an Age of Empires III map associated with The Baltic Powers content. Treat the generated start as the authority for resource and route placement: search for safe Hunts, nearby Coin and Wood before committing to a fixed build order. The historical name identifies the setting, but it does not mean every match reproduces a historical battle or uses a static terrain script. Use the Explorer to reveal settlement and Trade Route locations, then consider whether an alliance or route post can be held without exposing workers. Keep the opening flexible until the initial resources and travel lanes are visible. The best civilization and Home City deck depend on whether the current layout rewards early map control, a safe economy or a push along a central route; a named map by itself does not establish which of those will occur.
River Trade Routes and mineral-rich quarters
The Knights of the Mediterranean version of Bohemia is an Age of Empires III random map divided into four quarters by perpendicular rivers. Each quarter is mineral-rich and contains a Trading Post site and a residence of a royal house. The positions provide all players access to the river Trade Routes, but controlling an entire route is difficult because it crosses contested territory. Settlements include Habsburg, Jagiellon, Wettin and Wittelsbach, so the map offers several Native-style alliance choices alongside route control. Explore toward the central river crossings and identify which quarter contains safe resources before sending workers to a Trading Post. The map also includes treasure guardians such as Witch Hunters, Marauding Crabats, Marauding Musketeers, Coyotes, Gunmen and Brown Bears, as well as small treasures including Food, Coin, Wood and Experience rewards.
