Function
Villagers gather Food from the Folwark, and Polish improvements can specialize or strengthen its economic role. The building fits the civilization’s land-based plan of sustaining a large army, particularly its cavalry, through reliable food production.
Placement & timing
Add Folwarks when the starting food sources are running low or when the Polish economy needs durable food income. Protect them as valuable economic infrastructure and leave room to specialize them around the army plan.
Polish food economy and livestock
The Polish Folwark was added in The Baltic Powers. It is available from the Exploration Age, costs 170 Wood, takes 17 seconds to build and provides population support for up to 10. It supplies an infinite Food source, trains Pigs and base soldiers, and makes herded animals fatten faster when tasked into the building. It combines economic support with livestock and unit access.
Construction and placement limits
Settlers and counterparts or a Homestead Wagon can construct a Folwark. It has 1,875 hit points, a five-builder limit and a build limit of 15. Place it where workers and animals can reach it without being exposed to raids. Its footprint and placement obstruction exceed the visible building alone, so leave room nearby. These details describe the Polish building in The Baltic Powers.
