When to research
Select Wettin when the German army benefits from Trabants and Saxon Cuirassiers: the Embassy unlocks both, with a larger train limit for Trabants and a three-population cost for each Saxon Cuirassier. The selection excludes Habsburg, Hanover, Oldenburg and Wittelsbach. Decide which House fits the match before spending Embassy time on the branch.
A Royal Embassy route for two units
House of Wettin opens Royal Embassy production and upgrades for Trabants and Saxon Cuirassiers. It adds 10 to the Trabant training limit and 7 to the Saxon Cuirassier limit; each Trabant uses 1 population and each Saxon Cuirassier uses 3. The research takes five seconds and is available to Germans from the Exploration Age. These are additional training limits, not free units delivered when the technology completes.
Choosing Wettin rules out other Houses
The technology disables House of Habsburg, House of Hanover, House of Oldenburg and House of Wittelsbach. Treat it as a mutually exclusive Royal Embassy direction: decide which unit roster best fills the army’s needs before researching. Trabants provide a low-population option while Saxon Cuirassiers consume three population each, so plan both the queue and housing before turning the larger cavalry limit into production.
