Brazilian revolutionary heavy cavalry
Jagunço is Heavy Cavalry for Brazil after the Revolution in Definitive Edition. It can be trained at a Stable, Tavern, Lombard, Fort or Galleon, costs 120 Food, uses one population and trains in 30 seconds. Its profile has 250 hit points, 30% hand resistance, speed 6.5 and line of sight 15. The hand attack deals seven damage with bonuses of 3× against Heavy Infantry and Heavy Cavalry and 2× against Hand shock troopers. The ranged attack deals 18 damage at range 12 every three seconds, with the same listed matchup bonuses and a special 5× effect against Llamas. The siege attack deals 13 damage. With the Jagunços card, the unit can gather Food from herdable animals, train Cows and build Livestock Pens, adding an economic role to its cavalry function. Those actions are conditional on the card and should not be assumed in every deck. Use Jagunços against the heavy unit classes their multipliers target, but keep a screen against other threats and do not overextend. Their production from several buildings can help reinforce a revolutionary army, while Galleon access is useful only on a map where a safe naval source is available.
Card-enabled herd economy
The Jagunços card adds the ability to gather Food from herdable animals, train Cows and build Livestock Pens. Those functions can support a delayed livestock economy, but they do not change the unit’s 120-Food price or one-population cost. Keep the card requirement in mind when planning production and avoid assigning every Jagunço to economic work if the army needs its cavalry counters. Its 6.5 speed lets it move between the front and livestock site, yet leaving the army can expose it to enemy cavalry or ranged units. Decide whether the match calls for heavy-unit pressure or livestock support before splitting its duties.
Card and role check
The livestock actions require the Jagunços card. Without it, use the unit for its heavy-unit combat bonuses and do not budget time around Cow or Livestock Pen functions.
Training source flexibility
Stable, Tavern, Lombard, Fort and Galleon access can shorten the reinforcement route after the Revolution. Use the source that is safest and rally units together before engaging heavy targets.
Brazilian revolutionary cavalry and livestock utility
Jagunços are a Brazil Revolution unit available after sending the Jagunços Home City Card. They are trained from a Stable, Tavern, Lombard, Fort or Galleon. A Jagunço costs 120 Food, takes 30 seconds to train, uses one population and has 250 hit points, 30% hand resistance and speed 6.5. Its ranged attack deals 18 damage at range 12 every three seconds, while its hand attack deals seven damage; both have bonuses against Heavy Infantry, Heavy Cavalry and Hand Shock troops. With the card, Jagunços can gather Food from herdable animals, train Cows and build Livestock Pens, giving the revolutionary army an economic role as well.
Separate combat value from the card economy
The Jagunço’s target bonuses make it useful against durable Infantry and Cavalry, but it has no extraordinary base damage and should not be sent alone into a screened force. Use its ranged attack to soften the target before closing, then withdraw from anti-Cavalry units. Livestock abilities require the Jagunços card and should be treated as an alternate use of population and Food, not as free passive income. A group assigned to gather or build is unavailable to fight, so decide whether the revolution needs military pressure or a livestock economy. Its one-population cost allows a broad group, while the range and speed help it reposition. Keep enough ordinary support and production to cover artillery and other enemy units outside its bonuses.
