Role, availability & values
Kassa has 650 hit points, 6.25 speed and 40 hand damage, with a 3× bonus against Treasure Guardians. He sees Stealth and regenerates; when reduced to zero hit points he collapses rather than dying. After recovering 100 hit points, a friendly unit or building nearby can revive him.
Matchup & timing
Keep Kassa near the army and use him to explore for Treasures or establish Trading Posts. His attack is especially effective against Treasure Guardians, but deals little damage to Villagers. If he collapses, protect the area until he recovers enough health for an ally or building to revive him.
Roar of the Lion and Dodge
Roar of the Lion is an active aura that improves nearby allies’ attack speed by reducing their rate of fire by 20% for 15 seconds within a 12-range area; it has a 90-second cooldown. Kassa also has a passive 15% chance to evade an incoming attack entirely. These abilities support a compact army around the hero. Use the aura when allies are ready to engage, then keep Kassa alive so he can continue scouting and help recover the force after battle. Historically, Kassa Hailu is the Ethiopian nobleman who later became Emperor Tewodros II; the scenario presents him as a playable hero during The Era of the Princes.
