Effect & research conditions

Access is tied to the House of Vasa palace technology path; the active civilization and ruleset determine whether the option is available.

When to research
Complete it before a push where the Hussar delivery and wider charge can influence the fight, and ensure population space is available for five units. The high cost competes with immediate army production, so research it when the player can use both the reinforcement and ability improvement. Protect the Hussars as they move into position.
The shipment and charge upgrade arrive together
Koncerz is not only a unit shipment: the charge’s additional range and area apply to Winged Hussars under the upgrade. The best timing therefore comes when the army can take advantage of both effects. Use the enlarged charge against grouped targets when the path is safe, while retaining normal cavalry support and avoiding a head-on commitment into prepared anti-cavalry.
