Role, availability & values

It has 350 hit points, moves at 5.0 speed, costs 275 Food and takes 10 seconds to train. Its hand attack deals 10 damage, with a 5.0× bonus against Treasure guardians and a 0.1× modifier against Villagers. Its availability depends on the civilization or scenario that grants the pet.

Matchup & timing

Use Pete-Pete to help an Explorer defeat Treasure guardians when the pet is available. Keep it supported if enemy military units are nearby and avoid using it as a general raider. Compare its Food cost with the reward and guardians it can help secure.

Rare map pet and guardian damage

Pete-Pete is among the rarer pets in The Asian Dynasties map pool and is noted on Yellow River and Silk Road. The base profile gives it 350 hit points, 10% hand resistance, 5.0 speed and 12 line of sight. It costs 275 Food, trains in 10 seconds and yields 28 XP when trained or killed. Its attack deals 10 hand damage every 1.5 seconds, but the important value is its 5.0-times multiplier against Treasure guardians; against Villagers it deals only one tenth normal damage. This makes the panda exceptionally useful for the specific job of clearing a guarded Treasure when available, not for chasing workers or fighting a regular army. Pete-Pete automatically upgrades with each Age, gaining the listed 20%, 30%, 40% and 60% hit-point and damage increases in Ages II through V. It can also benefit from eligible pet or infantry effects listed in the game, including armor, attack and speed improvements. Use the 5× guardian bonus to shorten a difficult Treasure fight, then keep the unit with the Explorer and away from enemy military formations.

Training limit and support effects

The unit profile lists a cap of 12 and 28 XP for both training and defeat. Pete-Pete can see Stealth in the Definitive Edition, which is marked as a later profile feature. Eligible pet and infantry improvements can raise hit points or attack, but the rare-map appearance on Yellow River or Silk Road is the defining access condition: players should not assume the panda can be trained in every standard match.

Treasure guardian specialist

Pete-Pete the Pet Panda has a strong hand-attack bonus against Treasure guardians: its 10 base damage is multiplied by five. With 350 hit points and five speed, the pet can accompany an Explorer and help clear a guarded reward, but its 0.1× damage against Villagers makes it ineffective as a raider. Keep the Panda near the hero and supporting troops, and scout the guardians before entering combat.

Food cost and conditional access

Pete-Pete costs 275 Food and takes 10 seconds to train where a scenario or civilization provides access. That is a meaningful early investment, so use it when the map offers a Treasure encounter the force can win. Verify the pet is available before planning around it; it is not part of every standard production roster. After clearing the guardian, collect the reward and protect the Panda from ordinary military units rather than sending it alone toward a base.
