Siberia
Siberia is a Random Map themed around the Siberia region of Asian Russia. Starting positions and resource placements are generated for each match, and the map’s edges, crossings and player count affect how far armies must travel.

Map character
Scout the generated layout for safe Food and Coin, traversable edges, route sites and Treasures before committing to an opening. Determine whether a Dock is possible and whether a Trade Route connects the positions. Do not assume the same resource cluster or route from another match.
What to scout
Use the revealed resources to choose a civilization and Home City deck. Expand toward defensible gathering sites and make sure the army can reinforce distant workers. Invest in water or Trade Route control only when those features are present and can be held.
Frozen river, starting defenses and expansion
Siberia’s Age III map has opposing starting areas divided by a frozen river, with a Trade Route along the southern edge. Players begin with a Tower, which makes an early rush harder than on an open map. A nearby Treasure may contain a trapped Snow Monkey that can be freed for scouting. Small tree clumps near the Town Center can force workers to move between forests, while the frozen river creates a wide central no-man’s-land with few resources. Musk Deer or Saiga may appear there, but the main hunting is near the forests. Trade Post numbers vary with map size and player count, so explore the southern edge before choosing a route-control plan. The map can make forward wagons and defense placement risky because the opponent can patrol the central area. Secure the local Hunts and Wood first, then use the starting Tower and army to protect expansion toward the river or route.
Native settlement and map travel
The map contains a Tengri Shrine settlement, and its enormous size can make both travel and resource defense significant. A frozen river divides the main land areas, but it contains little Food or Wood; do not treat the middle as a profitable expansion zone. The southern Trade Route and the starting Tower are more reliable strategic features, while local forest clumps and Hunts sustain the opening.
