Texas Frontier
Texas Frontier is a Definitive Edition map based on Texas. It begins with two defensive Towers, an infantry production building and two Copper Mines near each Town Center. Two Trade Routes, each with two Trading Post sites, cut through the open plain; Comanche and Apache settlements and Comanchero and Renegado Outlaws add land objectives.

Map character
The starting Towers help defend against an early rush, while the infantry building lets players produce before constructing new military infrastructure. The nearby Copper Mines offer protected Coin, but the Trade Routes run through the center and separate the teams. Scout the low cliffs and settlement access, then check which route posts can be reached without crossing the opponent’s firing line.
What to scout
Use the protected opening to develop the economy, but field units before leaving the Towers’ coverage to contest outer resources. Guard the Copper Mines because they are accessible raid targets. Decide whether the plan depends on route progression, an Apache or Comanche alliance, or pressure across the center, and expand only when reinforcements can reach the position.
Starting defenses create time, not permanent safety
The two Towers and initial infantry building make the Town Center difficult to rush immediately, creating room for economic development. They do not protect the central Trade Routes or every resource site. Use that opening to scout and establish production, then move outward with a force that can cover the Trade Posts and settlement approaches. The Comanche and Apache sites provide different options, so choose one according to the army plan rather than splitting workers and troops between both without enough strength to defend them.
